At PaderMUN 2017, we will simulate the executive board of UNESCO that makes all global decisions about the work of the agency and its cooperation with international and regional partners. For a list of available countries, click here. The topics of UNESCO are:

Benjamin Wrigley is 24 years old and grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. In 2013 he moved to Germany to finish his mechanical engineering degree. He then became involved with the MUN Siegen society after his first conference in 2014. He has gone on to be head delegate for the Siegen delegation to NMUN NY in 2015 and 2016, Secretary general of SiegMUN 2016, and joined the staff of NMUN NY 2017 as an assistant director for the General Assembly Second Committee. Ben is very interested in the impact of politics and technological changes on the world around him, and is delighted to return to Paderborn as a chair for UNESCO.
Yucheng Gu is 20 years old and grew up in Beijing, China. He moved to Germany in 2009 and attended school in Leverkusen. During high school, he participated in the European Youth Parliament. After graduating, Yucheng started studying engineering management at the University of Paderborn. He joined the MUN society in his first year and has since then participated in multiple editions of PaderMUN and SiegMUN. PaderMUN 2017 will be his first time as a chair. In his free time, Yucheng likes to swim and play tennis.
